Scarlet Begonias
Growing up with parents who were teenagers in the sixties meant that music filled our house. The radio was always on and my dad loved two stations: the oldies and classic rock. I was introduced to The Beatles, Boston, Bad Company, The Rolling Stones, Jefferson Airplane, Hendrix, Joplin and of course The Grateful Dead.
This morning I was driving and heard this classic come on the radio. Cranking it up, I sang along and my kids were fascinated.
"Who's this singing?"
"I like this one!"
"Mom, how do you know the words?"
I love that they love what I love.
Enjoy!
